Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 8 September 2026

These Terms & Conditions apply to the use of the LTM Auto website and to services requested or booked through our website, by telephone or through other direct communication with us.

By using our website or requesting a service from LTM Auto, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. About These Terms

LTM Auto provides vehicle recovery, roadside assistance, auto electrical, mobile mechanic and related automotive services across Ireland.

Business Name: LTM Auto
Email: support@ltm-auto.com
Phone: +353 (85) 707 2280

2. Our Services

Services offered by LTM Auto may include:

  • Vehicle recovery and towing
  • Breakdown assistance
  • Vehicle transport
  • Mobile mechanic services
  • Auto electrical diagnostics and repairs
  • Battery and starting assistance
  • Vehicle diagnostics
  • Mechanical repairs and servicing
  • Other automotive services agreed with the customer

The availability of a particular service depends on the vehicle, location, fault, required equipment and technician availability.

We may determine that a requested repair cannot be safely or reasonably completed at the roadside or another mobile location. In these circumstances, we may recommend vehicle recovery or further workshop inspection.

3. Service Requests & Bookings

Submitting a website form, calling us or otherwise contacting LTM Auto does not automatically guarantee that a booking has been accepted.

A service is confirmed once LTM Auto has accepted the request and, where applicable, agreed the service, location and estimated price with the customer.

You are responsible for providing accurate information about:

  • Your vehicle
  • Your current location
  • The nature of the breakdown or fault
  • Any known damage or safety concerns
  • Any other information reasonably required to provide the service

Incorrect or incomplete information may affect the service we are able to provide or the price quoted.

4. Pricing & Quotes

Where possible, we will provide pricing or an estimated price before work begins.

Prices may depend on factors including:

  • Type of service required
  • Vehicle type and condition
  • Recovery or transport distance
  • Parts and materials required
  • Complexity of the repair
  • Additional work identified during inspection

If additional work is required beyond what was originally agreed, we will explain the work and any additional charges before proceeding where reasonably possible.

A quote may be revised if the information originally provided by the customer was incorrect or if circumstances discovered during the service materially change the work required.

5. Payment

Payment is due according to the terms agreed when the service is booked or completed.

Available payment methods will be communicated when arranging the service.

Where payment is required before completion or vehicle release, the applicable amount must be paid in accordance with the terms agreed with LTM Auto and applicable law.

6. Cancellations

If you need to cancel or change a booking, please contact us as soon as possible.

Depending on the circumstances, reasonable charges may apply where:

  • A recovery vehicle or technician has already been dispatched
  • Travel to your location has already begun
  • Parts have been specifically ordered for your vehicle
  • Work has already started at your request

Any statutory cancellation or withdrawal rights available to consumers under applicable Irish law remain unaffected.

Where a customer specifically requests that a service begins before the expiry of any applicable statutory cancellation period, payment may still be due for services already provided before cancellation.

7. Arrival & Response Times

Any response time or estimated arrival time provided by LTM Auto is an estimate unless expressly agreed otherwise.

Actual arrival times may be affected by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including traffic, weather, road conditions, technician availability and the availability of appropriate recovery equipment.

We will make reasonable efforts to keep you informed of significant delays.

8. Vehicle Access & Customer Responsibilities

You must ensure that:

  • You own the vehicle or have authority to request work on it
  • LTM Auto has reasonable access to the vehicle
  • The vehicle is located somewhere where work or recovery can be carried out safely
  • You inform us of any known hazards, modifications or special vehicle requirements
  • The information you provide about the vehicle and fault is accurate to the best of your knowledge

Where a location is unsafe, inaccessible or unsuitable, our technician or recovery operator may recommend an alternative approach or decline to carry out work until it can be performed safely.

9. Repairs & Diagnostics

Vehicle diagnostics may identify likely causes of a fault, but some problems require additional investigation before a definitive repair can be confirmed.

A diagnostic fault code does not necessarily mean that the component identified by the vehicle's computer requires replacement.

LTM Auto will use reasonable skill and care when diagnosing and repairing vehicles.

Where a repair cannot be safely or effectively completed as a mobile service, we may recommend further inspection or workshop repair.

10. Parts & Materials

Where replacement parts are required, suitable original, OEM-equivalent or aftermarket parts may be used depending on availability, cost, vehicle requirements and the customer's preferences.

Relevant options will be explained where appropriate.

Separate manufacturer or supplier warranties may apply to replacement parts.

11. Vehicle Recovery & Transport

Before recovery or transport, customers should remove valuables and personal belongings from the vehicle where reasonably possible.

LTM Auto is not responsible for personal belongings left inside a vehicle except where liability cannot legally be excluded.

You must inform us of any vehicle condition, damage or modification that may affect safe loading, recovery or transportation.

12. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful or affects statutory consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

To the extent permitted by law, LTM Auto will not be responsible for indirect or consequential losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the service was agreed.

We are not responsible for delays or failure to provide a service caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms affects your rights under applicable Irish consumer law.

13. Consumer Rights

Customers purchasing services as consumers have statutory rights under applicable Irish consumer protection law.

Our services will be provided in accordance with the agreement made with you and applicable legal requirements.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to remove or restrict consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
